This policy explains the personal data ErrorBase processes, why it is processed and which choices and rights are available.

Data and purposes

Depending on the feature used, ErrorBase may process:

  • Anonymous diagnostic-session answers, stored temporarily to continue a guided flow.
  • Aggregated first-party usage and search metrics without advertising profiles.
  • Affiliate-link click events for attribution without directly identifying the visitor.
  • For the Spain assistance pilot only: contact details, postal code, fault description and optional equipment photographs, submitted with explicit consent.

Legal basis, retention and recipients

Consent is used where a person submits a service request, photographs or marketing choice. Legitimate interests may support aggregated service analytics, fraud prevention and platform security where permitted by law.

Data is retained only for the time needed for the stated purpose, security and applicable legal obligations. Assistance data is not shared with a service provider without the user's informed authorization.

The main hosting provider and location are identified above. Providers may use affiliates or subprocessors in other jurisdictions under their service terms and data-processing agreements.

Where processing involves an international transfer, ErrorBase will rely on the mechanism disclosed by the provider, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, and update this policy before the relevant service is enabled.
